The Rainy River District Law Association was saddened to learn of the passing of Lawrence Alexander Eustace on July 6, 2024.
Mr. Eustace was one of the most senior members of our local bar until his retirement from practice earlier this year. He missed our last law association gathering and we were looking forward to recognizing his 50+ years in practice at the next opportunity.
In addition to Mr. Eustace's dedicated service to clients in the Fort Frances area over his career, he held numerous leadership roles in the profession.
Mr. Eustace was a past president of our law association and went on to serve as chair of Ontario's County and District Law Presidents' Association (now the Federation of Ontario Law Associations). He also served as a bencher of the Law Society of Upper Canada (now the Law Society of Ontario) representing the Northwest Region.
Our law association extends condolences to all those who practiced with Mr. Eustace over the years, as well as to his family and friends in the community.
